A business website has one job: make it obvious what happens next. Fast on a phone, clear about the next step, and changeable without calling whoever built it.

Questions we get

The questions that come up before a build, including the ones worth asking any provider you are considering.

Why is my website not bringing in business?

Usually because it was built as something the company should have rather than as something that should produce a result. No named primary action, a homepage that describes the company instead of the customer problem, and a form nobody is watching.

Why is my website so slow?

Most often oversized images, a heavy page builder, too many third-party scripts, or hosting that is cheap for a reason. Tracking and chat widgets are a common hidden cost because each one adds requests.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Yes, and it is common. The first step is establishing what you own: the domain registrar, the hosting, the repository, the analytics and the content.

Can you add booking, payments, or member areas to my current site?

Usually yes, depending on what it is built on. Booking, payments, gated content and member areas are well-served by established tools that integrate without a rebuild.

How much does a website cost?

It varies enormously depending on whether you need a brochure, a lead engine, or a platform with logged-in users and payments. Those are different projects with different risks.

How long does a website take to build?

A focused marketing site is typically four to eight weeks once the copy exists. Anything with accounts, payments or custom functionality runs longer.

Will a redesign lose our search traffic?

It can, and it frequently does. Traffic is lost when URLs change without redirects, when content is trimmed for visual reasons, or when the page structure changes with nobody mapping old to new.

WordPress, Webflow, or something custom?

Whichever your team can maintain without the original builder. Most business sites do not need custom.

Do we own everything at the end?

Yes, and you should insist on that with anyone. Domain, hosting, repository, analytics, design files and content sit in accounts controlled by your business from day one.

Can you write the content too?

Yes, and usually that is the faster path. The most common cause of a stalled build is a client homepage draft that has been sitting in a document for six weeks.
