What this site keeps
No ad tracker, no analytics cookie, and nothing you type into a tool leaves your browser.
We see which pages were read and roughly where from. No cookies, nothing that identifies you. Calculator answers stay in your browser. Messages reach one inbox. Nothing is sold or shared with ad networks.
What is recorded, and when
When you read a page
The page, the country and city your network reports, the family of browser, the site that linked you, and a short code that groups the pages of one visit together. The code is made from your address, your browser and the date, hashed and cut short. Tomorrow the same person produces a different one, and it cannot be turned back into anything. Kept sixty days.
How long you stayed
After five seconds, one small message says which page you were on, how many seconds you were there, and the heading you scrolled furthest to. Under five seconds, nothing is sent at all. It carries no code and nothing that could match it to another visit. Kept sixty days.
When you run a tool
Nothing. Every calculator on this site runs inside your browser. What you type is never sent anywhere, and the answers are held on your own machine so the next page can read them back. Clearing your browser clears them, which is the trade for nobody else holding them.
When you write to us
Your address, the topic, your message, and the page you were on. The email that arrives also carries the network address the message came from, because a form with no idea who is posting gets used to mail strangers within a week. Kept a year, then it expires on its own.
The three things most sites cannot say
There is no advertising tracker on this site. No pixel, no remarketing tag, no third party script watching what you read so it can follow you somewhere else. You will not see an ad for this firm tomorrow because of what you read today, because nothing here is capable of arranging that.
What is stored, someone else holds too, and pretending otherwise would be silly. Cloudflare serves every request to this site and sees the traffic in the ordinary way a host does. Email is delivered by a mail provider. Those two see what they have to see to do the job. Beyond them, nothing is sold, shared, brokered or passed to an advertising network.
Questions we get
Do you use cookies?
Not for analytics, and not for advertising. The tools keep their own answers in your browser storage, on your device rather than on ours, and only once you have run a tool. Nothing is written before you have done anything.
Then why is there no consent banner?
Because there is nothing to consent to yet. A banner asks permission before something is stored on your device or shared with an advertiser, and this site does neither. If that changes, the banner arrives with it rather than after it.
What does the contact form send?
Four things. Your address, the topic you picked, your message, and the page you were reading. The email also shows the country, city and network it came from, which is what stops the form being used to send mail to people who never asked for it.
If a tool sends nothing, how does the results page work?
It reads your own browser storage. Every tool writes its answer there as you go, and that page reads them back into one view. Nothing travels, and on a different computer that page is empty.
Do you sell or share any of this?
No. There is nobody to sell it to who would want it, and it would be a strange thing to do to somebody who came here to read about their own operation.
How do I have my details removed?
Write to hello@shaheer.io and say so. Anything held is deleted and you get a reply confirming what was there. Visit records expire after sixty days regardless, and messages after a year.
