Fix what is broken, publish what people search for, then earn links. In that order. Publishing more onto a site the crawler struggles with is the most common way to waste a year.

Questions we get

Straight answers on search visibility, including the parts most agencies avoid saying out loud.

Why did my Google traffic drop?

Usually one of four things: a core algorithm update, a technical change that broke crawling or indexing, competitors improving faster than you, or a site migration that lost redirects.

Why is my website not showing up on Google at all?

Most often the site is not indexed rather than ranking badly, and those are completely different problems. A stray noindex tag, a blocked robots file, a missing sitemap, or a brand new domain nobody links to will each produce the same symptom.

How long does SEO take to work?

For specific low-competition phrases on a newer site, two to three months. For anything competitive, six to twelve. There is no honest version of this that is fast, and anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting phrases nobody searches or planning something that will cost you later.

Is SEO still worth it now that people ask AI instead?

Yes, and the practice shifts rather than dies. Generated answers are assembled from indexed sources, so being crawlable, clearly structured and factually specific is what gets you cited inside the answer.

Can you fix SEO work a previous agency did badly?

Usually, and it is common work. The typical damage is thin pages published at volume, keyword stuffing, purchased links, or a migration that dropped redirects and never recovered.

How much does SEO cost?

It depends on the state of the site, how competitive the phrases are and whether you need the content produced or only the strategy. A technical repair on a small site is a very different commitment to an ongoing program in a competitive market.

Should we write more content or improve what we have?

Improve first, almost always. Pages sitting between position eight and twenty have already proven relevance and usually need additions and internal links rather than replacement.

Do we need to blog every week?

No. Cadence is far less important than quality and coverage. A small number of strong pages, kept current and properly linked, will outperform a weekly post nobody reads.

What about buying backlinks?

No. It breaches the guidelines, the risk sits with your domain rather than the seller, and the effect is usually temporary. Cleaning up after a purchased link profile is a job we get asked to do more often than we would like.

How do we track whether it is working?

Impressions and average position in Search Console for your target phrases, indexed page count, and inquiries attributed to organic. Rankings alone are vanity if nothing converts.
