What producing each episode costs

Booking, recording, editing and publishing on a cadence that holds, so the only thing left to do is turn up and talk. The show that survives is the one with a booking process behind it, and the relationships are usually worth more than the download numbers.

Is it a fit?

Cadence

Weekly beats brilliant. A show that skips a month is a show people stop opening.

Guest

The guests are people your buyers want to hear from, which is a shorter list than it looks.

Reuse

One recording becomes the episode, the clips and the written version, or it earns once.

Start here. You get back what one inquiry is worth, which is how a show that pays is told from a hobby.

Why most company podcasts stop at episode eight

The failure pattern is so consistent it is almost a rule. Episodes one to six are recorded in a burst of enthusiasm, the backlog runs out around episode eight, and the show goes quiet. Nobody decided to stop. The production load exceeded the time available.

The cause is that a podcast is not a recording, it is a pipeline. Booking, preparation, recording, editing, artwork, show notes, publishing, distribution and promotion, repeating every single episode. The recording is the enjoyable part and the smallest part.

What clients usually add

A show is a channel, and channels work better in pairs. PR and press turns the same material into coverage, and social media keeps it in front of people between episodes.

How it runs

Diagnose, build, run.

How engagements are set up

Scoped per episode or per season, agreed before recording starts.

Why podcasts die by episode eight

Podfade is predictable: production load grows, distribution never starts, and the calendar wins.

01

Production eats the host

Booking, editing, notes, and publishing consume more hours than the recording.

02

Published into silence

An episode without clips, distribution, and repurposing reaches the same twelve people every week no matter how good it is.

03

Cadence breaks, trust breaks

An audience forgives a mediocre episode.

You show up and talk. Guesting, editing, clips, show notes, and distribution run on a schedule that holds whether or not your week cooperates.

Questions we get

What do we have to do?

Prepare and turn up. Booking, briefing, recording direction, editing, artwork, show notes, publishing, distribution and promotion sit with us.

What equipment do we need?

Less than people expect. A decent USB microphone, wired headphones and a quiet room covers most of it, and quiet room matters more than microphone.

How often should we publish?

Whatever you can sustain for a year, which is almost always less than the initial plan. Fortnightly beats weekly if weekly means stopping in April.

Do you find the guests?

We handle outreach, booking, scheduling and briefing, working from a target list you approve. The invitation goes out from you rather than from us.
